Quick Theory
Quick Theory does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or with anyone else. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We run no servers, so there is nothing of yours we could see even if we wanted to.
Your learning progress, settings, lyrics, and recordings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the app also syncs this data to your personal iCloud account — Apple's private database, protected by your Apple Account — so it follows you across your own devices. Only you can access that data; we cannot. If you are not signed in to iCloud, nothing ever leaves your device.
The tuner, riff recorder, and Jam Along use the microphone with your permission. Audio is processed on your device only: tuner input is analyzed in memory and never written, and riff recordings and Jam Along takes are saved on your device (and in your private iCloud, if syncing) and are shared only if you choose to share them yourself.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. The app never sends purchase data anywhere.
If any future version of Quick Theory ever changes this, this page will be updated first.
